The city of Rotterdam will be getting a floating forest this Spring

 

A group of Dutch entreprenuers and designers from Mothership, seen an art piece named ‘In Search Of Habitus’, by artist Jorge Bakker, and were impressed to kill a existence-size model for the metropolis of Rotterdam, by installing 20 bushes that can bob within the water, perfect-looking admire a fishing drift.

The ‘Dobberend Bos‘ or ‘Bobbing Woodland’, because it has been named, started out in March 2014 with a single prototype, to test if the construct would work. It has been successful and has since grown into a paunchy tree.

The paunchy ‘Bobbing Woodland’, of 20 bushes, will be installed within the Spring, in Rotterdam’s harbour, Rijnhaven.
