Off the flee of Puno, Peru are the Uros Islands. They are floating islets made of totora reeds grown in Lake Titicaca. The pre-Incan Uros, who live to verbalize the tale these forty-two self-fashioned floating islands, keep all the pieces out of this materials -from homes to boats to notice towers. From these two strategies, Amorós created Uros to replicate the pure elegance of sea foam and totora reeds. The sculpture will apparently come up from the bottom as if it had been one with the earth.
